A process for sealing and/or strengthening ground in underground construction, especially in tunnel or drain construction, comprises locating an injection lance (4) and then using it to inject a substance, containing cement, into the ground. A mixture of polyurethane-hydrogel is formed at one side of the lance inlet (7) while cement powder or a cement-water mixture is formed at the other side. The mixture is then pressed through the lance to its openings (8) where it is pushed into a cement containing substance and mixed with water. The water is supplied via a pipe (6).
