<p>A method of fabrication of dental translucent restorations without opacity substructures includes the steps of applying an impression material to a tooth stump; using the geometry of an impression resultant of the applying step to form a dental die (60); applying, upon the die, a die spacer (47), the color, and shade of which is matched to a dentist's prescription of the dentin shade; applying a lubricant (38) to the die spacer; applying, upon the lubricant, a dental wax from which a dental wax-up (62) is formed; removing the wax-up from the die; and processing the wax-up into a translucent dental substructure (64) with the die matching the prescribed dentin color, and shade.</p> |
