<p>PURPOSE:To increase the line pressure in nearly proportion to the square of an elapsed time by instituting the spring characteristics of a first and second springs, the pressure receiving area of a valve body and a control piston, and the like according to characteristics of hydraulic multi-disc clutch and a load side. CONSTITUTION:In a pressure regulating valve 1, the moved distance (a) of a valve body 10 up to generation of relief action, the contracted length of a second spring 12 for pre-load, the flow coefficient and the passage area of a restrictor 5, the spring constant of a first and second springs 11, 12, respective pressure receiving area (s), S of the valve body 10 and a control piston 13, are instituted according to the characteristics of a hydraulic multi-disc clutch and its load. Therefore, feed pressure to the control piston 13 is increased in proportion to the square of an elapsed time, and the contracted length of the first spring 11 is proportioned this to increase the line pressure in proportion to the square of the elapsed time. When the on-off operation of the clutch is performed with an operating valve 2, by the action of a delay valve 3, the line pressure supply to the control piston 13 is once intercepted and hereafter reopened, and return of a spool 30 is slowed by a damping means. Therefore, increasing characteristic of the line pressure can be effectively utilized.</p> |
