<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To economically and advantageously produce 1,2-dichloroethylene by suppressing the adhesion or aggregation of a catalyst, reducing the combustion of ethylene which is an unfavorable side reaction and improving the unit requirement of the ethylene in an oxychlorination reaction of ethylene in a fluidized bed. SOLUTION: Highly active catalyst particles containing copper(II) chloride which is a catalyst supported in an amount of 5-15 wt.% based on a carrier are mixed with low active catalyst particles containing the supported copper(II) chloride in an amount of 0.1-3 wt.% based on the carrier for use in a fluidized bed type oxychlorination of ethylene. In this case, the carrier supporting the copper(II) chloride isγ-alumina and the surface area thereof is 160-500 m<2> /g.</p> |
