PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hot repairing material capable of carrying out firm bonding with a small amount of water added when mixing a spray repairing material with water and performing the spray repairing of a refractory while hot and to provide a method for hot spray repairing. SOLUTION: A carbonic salt in an amount of 2-20 wt.% based on a spray repairing material 1 is contained in a material to be sprayed on a refractory 5 in a hot spray repairing method comprising mixing the spray repairing material 1 with water 2, spraying the resultant mixture on the refractory 5 while hot and thereby repairing the refractory 5. The carbonic salt can be premixed in the water to be added. |
