PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polystyrene resin expandable particle which has a high rigidity, tensile strength and cracking resistance and is able to be recycled through heat melting, and a foam thereof. SOLUTION: A styrene expandable particle contains a pseudo-random copolymer of a styrene monomer and an aliphaticα-olefin wherein the styrene monomer segment content is from 50 to 80 wt.% and the aliphaticα-olefin segment content is from 20 to 50 wt.% and a foaming agent. Furthermore, this expandable particle is expanded to obtain an expanded particle, which is intramold- molded to obtain a styrene expanded particle molded part. |
