PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foamed bulk buffer material for filling use which is decomposed through the natural rotting even when it is buried in the earth for disposal after use, is small in heat generation even when it is incinerated for disposal, hard in causing the environmental pollution, and can be manufactured at a low cost. SOLUTION: A foamed bulk buffer material for filling use is obtained by achieving the extrusion foaming of a raw foaming body in which starch, cellulose, poly-alcohol and water at the specified ratio under the specified condition. As for the cellulose, not only the powder cellulose on the market, but also the natural waste material including peels of citrus fruits and apples, beat pulp and bagasse are used. The mixed raw material consists of 40-120 pts.wt. starch, 20-60 pts.wt. poly-alcohol, and 20-60 pts.wt. relative to 100 pts.wt. cellulose, and extrusion foaming is achieved under the condition of 100-200 deg.C in temperature and 5-50 kg/cm<2> in pressure. |
