<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method for the induction heating of the strip edge, by which an unannealed area caused by the interruption of the induction heating, can be sufficiently heated at a time restarting a line, and an unannealed part in the line direction does not occur, for instance, when annealing the strip edge after trimming by a trimmer by heating with the induction heating device, and when the induction heating has been discontinued because of a line stop during the induction heating. SOLUTION: When annealing an edge part by heating up to an annealing temperature by the induction heating over the whole length of the strip, and when the line has been stopped for an undecided time during the induction heating, by compensating a heating quantity required for reaching an annealing temperature to be determined by stop time, plate thickness, etc., by heating during an acceleration just before restarting the line and after restarting the line, the temperature of the strip edge of the unannealed area caused by the interruption of the induction heating, is increased to prevent an unannealed part from generating.</p> |
