PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject new polypeptide containing an amino acid sequence having high identity to an amino acid sequence over total length of a specific amino acid sequence and useful for treatment, diagnosis, assay, etc., of functional disorders or diseases including spongioid. SOLUTION: This isolated new HSSCRG1 polypeptide comprises an amino acid sequence having at least 70% identify to an amino sequence of the formula over total length of the formula and the HSSCRG1 polypeptide and polynucleotide are useful for treatment, diagnosis, assay, etc., of functional dissorders or diseases including spongioid. The polypeptide is obtained by integrating a polynucleotide obtained by using EST analysis from cDNA library derived from mRNA in a cell of human brain, testis, uterus, aorta, proembryo and soft tissue into an expression system, introducing the polynucleotide into a compatible host cell and culturing the host cell. |
