PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the processing rate for inverting a font by eliminating the need of any extra processing for inversion, e.g. logic operation of NOT. SOLUTION: A ticket issuing machine 21 has a control section 40 connected with a display section 25, a change returning lever 26, a select button 27, a print head 36, a bill varidator 41, a coin mechanism 42, and the like. The control section 40 comprises a processing section 43, a font table 44, and an output memory 46 for constituting a print data being outputted to the print head 36 at the time of printing a ticket. When the processing section 43 reads out every 8 bit, for example, of the dot data of a font stored on the font table 44, it is read out as a first sequence in such a format as continuous black dots and continuous white dots are arranged alternately or being described by any one of black dots or white dots. A second sequence is constituted by affixing a dummy data uncotributive to printing to the head of the first sequence and then a dot data is written in the output memory 46 based on the second sequence. |
