<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving force transmission device for a hybrid vehicle, which can enhance fuel consumption economy when each auxiliary driving wheel is not in use, and can reduce costs. SOLUTION: This hybrid vehicle is equipped with main driving wheels 12 and 13 driven by an engine 16, and with a driving force transmission device through which the torque of an electric motor 20 is transmitted by way of a reduction mechanism 21. In the torque transmission system of the electric motor 20, a clutch 22 acting as a two way clutch, is disposed to the downstream side of the final reduction part of the reduction mechanism. When the clutch is turned off, no torque from the side of auxiliary driving wheels 14 and 15 is transmitted to the final reduction part of the reduction mechanism 21. That is to say, the reduction mechanism 21 will never be actuated.</p> |
