摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the direct hit escaping of injection fuel to an ignition plug and stability of combustion. SOLUTION: In a homogeneous combustion operation mode having high fuel quantity, the degree of the projection of an ignition plug 9 is reduced to escape the direct hit of injection fuel to the ignition plug 9 to reduce the fuel injection quantity. In a laminated combustion operation mode decreasing gas flow in a combustion chamber 4 increases the degree of the projection of the ignition plug 9. The results positively transport fuel to around the ignition plug 9, stabilizing the combustion even under the homogeneous combustion operation mode and the laminated combustion operation mode.
