A device to cut bushes, boughs and/or branches has a cutting tool which is coupled to an electric motor. The motor has an accumulator which is assigned as a voltage supply. The accumulator is spatially removed from the motor, and a fastening device on a piece of clothing or on a part of the body of an operating person is assigned to the accumulator. The accumulator is fastened on or in a belt and located in a rucksack. The cutting tool is coupled to the motor via an eccentric disc (1). The cutting tool consists of a first and second blade (2,6).
