Improved polymerase chain reaction method used to reduce the number of false results

A polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method which includes the step of thoroughly heating the reaction vessel, before adding the sample, at a temperature and for a time sufficient for thermolysis of nucleic acid impurities, is new. An Independent claim is also included for a PCR vessel made of a material that is stable to at least 350oC.
