HAIR SHAPING AGENTS

A method for permanent hair shaping, whereby hair is mechanically shaped and treated with a keratin reducing agent, rinsed and fixed with an oxidizing agent, providing quality hair shaping. The hair thus shaped remains in place for a longer period and is easier to comb when the keratin reducing agent us ed consists of a fine-particled oil in water emulsion containing at least 1 wt. % of a water soluble keratin reducing agent and at least 1 wt.% of an oil or fatty constituent with an average particle size of less than 200 nm and less than 0.4 parts by weight of a hydrophilic emulsifier for 1 part by weight of an oil or fatty constituent.
