Voltage controlled piezoelectric oscillator circuit for high stability applications

The oscillator circuit output frequency is determined in part, as a function of an external input voltage. The capacitative circuitry of the oscillator comprises a fixed capacity permanently connected to a variable capacity diode, or varicap. Several fixed capacities can be selectively switched into circuit to adjust the frequency of oscillation. An Independent claim is included for the corresponding method of oscillator frequency adjustment.
