摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the fastness of a coloring agent by specifying a glass transition temperature of a polymer soluble in isoparaffin hydrocarbon. SOLUTION: An ink receptor layer containing a polymer soluble in isoparaffin hydrocarbon and an alumina hydrate is formed on a transparent carrier so as to form an ink jet recording medium for non-water soluble ink suitable for ink jet recording by the use of non-water soluble ink. In this instance, a polymer soluble in isoparaffin hydrocarbon contained in the ink receptor layer is made 25 deg.C or higher in its glass transition temperature, thus obtaining a recording medium having no adhesiveness created on the surface. Such a polymer used is one containing as a constitutional unit alkyl (meth)acrylate of a 8 or more C alkyl group, or one containing as a constitutional unit isobornyl (meth)acrylate.
