PHASE CHANGE INK COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase change ink composition which has a low viscosity when it is in a liquid phase, has a low coefficient of friction when it is in a solid phase, and can give a print improved in strength and durability. SOLUTION: This composition is prepared by combining a urethane resin being the reaction product of a plurality of alcohols with a nucleophilic-reagent- containing chromogen and an isocyanate with a monoamide and at least one polyethylene wax. The alcohol mixture contains a linear monohydric aliphatic alcohol of a carbon chain length of 20 or longer, a monohydric aromatic alkoxylated alcohol and a monohydric fused-ring alcohol.
