A reinforced shrink wrap comprising at least one layer of highly irradiated polyethylene shrink film; reinforcing filamentous grids on either side of the shrink film; said reinforcing filamentous grids in a flexible adhesive layer; and two polyolefin film layers facing the adhesive layers as the outer surfaces of the shrink wrap. There is also provided a method of producing shrink wrap, shrink wrap so produced and product covers made with the shrink wrap of the present invention.
