PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent thermal recording material in which fixing inhibition is not caused at a time for recording photographic picture, a fixing time is short, texture after fixing is white, bleedout of a fluorescent brightener from a thermoplastic resin layer is not caused, and a good image is obtained. SOLUTION: The thermal recording material is constituted by providing a thermal recording layer containing a diazonium salt compound decomposed and treated by ultraviolet rays on a supporting body in which a thermolplastic resin layer is provided on a substrate. The thermoplastic resin layer is formed by melt extrusion and also contains a fluorescent brightener and white pigment. In the thermal recording material, the fluorescent brightener desirably is a compound shown by a formula (wherein, R1 , R2 , R3 and R4 respectively show hydrogen atom or substituent group or substituted atom). |
