PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air/fuel ratio sensor that has superior mechanical durability and an excellent starting property, and easily detects temperature inside a sensor element. SOLUTION: A sensor 1 consists of a sensor element 2 that has a U-shaped section and an inner chamber, a heat introduction member 10 that introduces heat from the external part of a body part 40 where a tip part is inserted into the inner chamber 20 of the sensor element 2 and the sensor element is stored, and an external heat source 31 that is provided outside the body part 40 and is connected to the rear end part of the heat introduction member 10. |
