PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the telephone set where the operation relating to dialing or reception under utilizing the caller telephone number transmission service is simplified. SOLUTION: A control section 27 discriminates whether an ID key 20 is long depressed or shortly depressed. When the control section 27 discriminates the short time depression, the control section changes a flag of a dial mode flag 24 and when the control section 27 discriminates the long time depression, the control section changes a flag of a call receiving mode flag 25, and in the case of the dialing or the call reception conducts dialing processing or call reception processing according to the mode at that point of time.
