PURPOSE: To provide a protection method of metallic structure or the like capable of economically preventing the corrosion of a metallic structure or metallic product such as a buried pipe or a steel construction in a strong corrosive environment. CONSTITUTION: A closure 2 is formed outside the metallic product or metallic structure to be protecting object. A basic aq. solution is filled or passed in a space 3 produced between the closure 2 and the outer peripheral part of the metallic product or metallic structure. Electric protection is applied to the metallic product or metallic structure dipped in the basic aq. solution.
