The attachment consists of a workpiece holder (4) and a mechanical transmission system (9,6,7) connected to a main motor (8), and a tool holder carriage (10). It is driven by a second mechanical transmission mechanism with a gearbox (17) connected to the main motor (8) and providing a set demultiplication for the speed of a milling tool. The second transmission mechanism comprises a mechanical assembly (20,21,22) to offset the workpiece in proportion to the movement of the carriage, so that the milling tool (15) can make straight or spiral grooves in the workpiece (16).
