<p>PURPOSE: To provide a linear slider whose straightness can be remarkably improved without deteriorating the moving speed too much and which can maintain a function as a roller bearing for a long duration. CONSTITUTION: A table is axially supported on a stand 1 through a roller bearing 36 driving force is transmitted to the table by a ball screw and a ball screw nut, and a movement inhibiting member 5 to forcibly inhibit the movement of the roller bearing 3b is installed near the moving position of the roller bearing 3b for every reciprocal movement of the table. Moreover, a reinforcing member 3b3 is installed in a retainer 3b1 for the purpose to lessen the damage of the retainer 3b1 due to the collision of the retainer 3b1 and the movement inhibiting member 5.</p> |
