A cell culture cupboard has an inner space (12) into which gas is introduced through a jet (24). The gas is injected at such a speed that it is injected into the surrounding air within the cupboard. The injector outlet jet tube (24) has openings near the jet outlet orifice, sucking in the surrounding mixture of gas and air, and enhancing the mixing process.
