The cooler has a drive shaft (6), a cylinder body with cylinder bores, front (4) and rear (5) cylinder heads, pistons (P1) sliding in the bores, a wobble plate in a chamber in the cylinder body, low and high temperature heat exchangers (21), regenerators (22) and connection channels between working chambers with axial channels. The axial channels each contain a low temperature heat exchanger, a regenerator and a high temperature heat exchanger.
