<p>A universal sump half (10) utilized to form a sump by mating two of the universal sump halves (10) together. The sump half (10) includes a base wall (20) having a longitudinal edge (26) with a flange portion (26a) and mating edge portion (26b). The flange portion (26a) extends only along a portion of the longitudinal edge (26) and is offset from the base wall (20). First and second side walls (12, 14) extend transversely from lateral sides of the base wall (20). The side walls (12, 14) have side edges (22, 24) which, along with said base wall longitudinal edge (26) define a juncture plane. The first side edge (22) including a side flange portion (22a) extending along at least a portion of the first side edge (22), with the side flange portion (22a) being offset from the first side wall (12). A back is connected between the first and second side walls (12, 14) and extends transversely from a rear longitudinal edge of the base wall (20).</p> |
