PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent slippage from an inserted position after being inserted into a vessel such as a blood vessel, and to avoid intercepting a fluid flow such as a blood flow by a stricture by forming a tube-shaped stent graft out of a water-absorptive polymer material and a thermoplastic resin fiber. SOLUTION: The stent graft 3 for expanding a shrunk tube cavity section and for providing an open passage within a tube cavity is a single pipe of a double shape formed from an external layer 4 and an interior layer 5, and a stent 2 are provided on the internal side thereof. The external layer 4 of such stent graft 3 is a coated cloth layer having a water-absorptive polymeric material, and an interior layer 5 is formed tube shaped from a thermoplastic resin fiber such as a polyester fiber. When the stent graft 3 like this is used inserting into a vessel like a blood vessel, the water-absorptive polymeric material absorbs water such as the blood and the body fluid to expand. Since the stent graft is sufficiently contact with the interior wall of the vessel such as the blood vessel, slippage from the inserted position can be prevented. |
