PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fold back to the mountain side creepers growing thick in the mountain side, and effectively prevent the creepers from hanging in the entrance of a tunnel by inclining a panel of prescribed height to the mountain side and forming a panel upper part in the form of an arc. SOLUTION: Panels are continuously provided on the upper part of the potal of the entrance of a tunnel to constitute creeper hanging prevention device. The strut 1 of an L-shaped member is attached to a plate body 2 having the surface smoothness of stainless steel, aluminum or the like to constitute a panel, a lower part is curved to incline atθ=10-45 deg. to the mountain side, the length L of a flat plate is made 700 mm or longer, an upper end is formed in the form of an arc of a radius R=100-200 mm, and the tangent direction of an edge is made 80-135 deg. to the vertical. The strut 1 is attached to a route side, the mountain side is made flat, a slit is provided on the lower part of the plate body 2, the flange of the strut 1 is projected and fixed on the concrete wall 3 of an entrance with anchor bolts 21, 21. Thereby the creepers can be prevented from hanging in the entrance of a tunnel.
