PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Al alloy material for a transporting machine subjected to coating substrate treatment to impart both excellent filiform corrosion resistance and water resistance capable of substituting for phosphating treatment and ED coating. SOLUTION: The surface of an Al alloy material 1 is provided with a composite film 2 of the hydrated oxide of Al and a metallic compd. of one or more kinds selected from Fe, Ni, Co and Zn, the surface of the composite film is furthermore provided with a coating film 5, and moreover, the content of the metallic compd. to the hydrated oxide of Al is regulated to >=1.0 wt.% expressed in terms of metallic elements. It is preferable that the thickness of the composite film is regulated to 100 to 10,000Å, and the coating film is the one subjected to coating selected from electrostatic coating, anion electrode position coating, spray coating, roll coater coating and dip coating.
