<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a filter medium having high adsorbing function to pollen, etc., by carrying porous apatite powder which is secondary particles of a specified particle diameter formed by aggregating fine particles on base fibers of a specified fiber diameter and a binder component. SOLUTION: Porous apatite powder of an increased particle diameter, preferably 75-850μm forming a more porous matrix by aggregation, e.g. hydroxyapatite or fluorinated apatite powder is used. When a filter medium having antibacterial and deodorizing functions typified by a filter medium for a mask is formed, such porous apatite powder is carried on base fibers of 10-35μm fiber diameter and a binder component. A resin adhesive or a fibrous binder may be used as the binder component.</p> |
