FIELD: heat treatment of metals and alloys, possibly at quenching parts, fusing in liquid heat transfer agents and at heating before deformation. SUBSTANCE: three-phase electrode furnace-bath includes water cooled cylindrical housing 1; coil 15 arranged on outer side of housing 1; electrodes 3,4. The last are connected with phases A,B,C in pairs and are uniformly arranged on concentric circles on wall of housing 1 under level 5 of melted slag 6 and in bath bottom 2. Symmetry axes 9,10 of paired electrodes 3,4 connected with the same phase are mutually normal and they are laid in vertical plane passing through symmetry axis 14 of bath at different sides from center of circles 7,8. Coil 15 has triangular cross section. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of usage of working space of furnace due to providing uniform temperature of melt by means of circulation. 3 dwg
