PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconducting rubber roll of low hardness which causes no contamination of a photoreceptor, which has little environmental dependence and excellent durability and resistance against compressive permanent strain. SOLUTION: The multilayered semiconducting rubber roll is produced by sequentially forming at least three layers in the order from the center, (A) an axial body 14, (B) an intermediate layer 15 and (C) a surface layer 16. The intermediate layer 15 is produced by crosslinking an epichlorohydrin rubber compsn. containing (a) a rubber component essentially comprising epichlorohydrin rubber (having >=50 wt.% epichlorohydrin rubber content), (b) a low mol.wt. epichlorohydrin polymer having 0.01 to 0.5ηsp /C (by 10 to 150 pts.wt. to 100 pts.wt. of the epichlorohydrin rubber), and (c) a crosslinking agent (by 0.1 to 10 pts.wt. to 100 pts.wt. of the rubber component). |
