PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interface by which access to configuration information between a firmware and a virtual machine control program is simplified in a virtual machine system on which the firmware is mounted. SOLUTION: Interruption is generated to write of configuration information allocated to main memories 11, 21 of virtual machines 10, 20 in storage areas 112, 212 by firmwares 111, 211 of the virtual machines by an address conversion mechanism 42 of a physical machine and control transition is performed by transferring interruption parameters to a virtual machine control program 33. The virtual machine control program 33 writes pieces of the configuration information 34, 35 replaced with an area of a main memory 30 of the physical machine based on the transferred interruption parameters.
