<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply a small-sized digitizer of a simplified structure to drawings with different sizes, especially to a drawing whose lateral direction is long, and to output a measuring point on the drawing as a precise coordinate value by outputting the coordinate value of the measuring point from the moving distance of a connection body and the moving distance of a winding part. SOLUTION: When a use moves a cursor 12 to a measuring point, a connection body 13 is pulled out from a winding part 14 in accordance with the movement of the cursor 12. When the connection body 13 is pulled out, a horizontal position detection sensor 15 detects light reflected as a pulse signal by the scale of the connection body 13 and measured the moving distance of the horizontal direction of the cursor 12 from the number of pulses in a pulse signal. The winding part 14 winds the connection body 13 in accordance with the movement of the cursor 12. Thus, it moves on a rail 11 from a position nearest to the measuring point. A vertical position detection sensor 16 detects light reflected as the pulse signal by the scale of the rail 11 and measures the moving distance of the winding part 14 from the pulse signal and the phase difference.</p> |
