PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copying machine with a function preventing an original from being left behind constituted so that an original whose copying is finished is properly prevented from being left behind. SOLUTION: When the original 2 is placed on a copying glass 1a and copied by being pressed by an original cover 1b, a warning is issued to a person leaving the original 2 on the glass 1a. When it is detected by a photodetector 3 that the original 2 exists on the glass 1a and it is detected by an infrared-ray sensor 4 that the user of a copying machine 1 does not continuously exist within the prescribed range of the machine 1, a warning part 6 is instructed by a control part 5 based on the signals of the photodetector 3 and the sensor 4 so that an warning sound is issued to the person leaving the original 2 on the glass 1a. |
