PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device capable of exhibiting sufficient cleaning performance with a simple device configuration. SOLUTION: A fixing device 10 for copying machine is provided with a pair of rollers 12 and 14 carrying a paper P fed in by holding a toner image T by interposing it. Then, this cleaning device 1 is arranged at the surface of the fixing roller 12 for melting the image T on a condition that it is brought into contact with the surface of the roller 12. The cleaning device 1 is provided with a cylinder 2, a feeding-out shaft 4 and a take-up shaft 6 arranged in the cylinder 2 and a web 3 fed out from the shaft 4, wound round the outside circumference of the cylinder 2 through the slit thereof and taken up again by the shaft 6 in the cylinder 2 through the slit. When jammed, the cylinder 2 is rotated and the surface 12a of the roller 12 is cleaned by the web 3 wound round the outside circumference of the cylinder 2. |
