PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To completely eliminate the need for cash by communicating money amount information with a cashless medium without accompanying information for specifying the owner of the cashless medium, performing the transaction of the money amount information with the cashless medium and storing the transacted money amount information in a storage means. SOLUTION: This transaction device is constituted of the cashless medium 1, an automatic transaction terminal equipment 2, a center device 3 and a commercial transaction terminal equipment 4. The cashless medium 1 is a multi- functional IC card with built-in storage means 11 and arithmetic means 12 whose functions are extended in terms of techniques and in terms of uses as well substituting the present cashless card (magnetic stripe card) of banks. In the transaction device, the money amount information is communicated with the cashless medium 1 without accompanying the information for specifying the owner of the cashless medium 1 and the transaction of the money amount information is performed with the cashless medium 1. Then, the transacted money amount information is stored in the storage means 11 of the cashless medium 1. |
