PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize multimedia information providing in a wide range and also to answer a user's individual request by providing satellite channel information providing devices, an information control center managing information and ground lines connecting both of them and connecting the satellite channel information providing devices with one-way satellite channel through a communication satellite. SOLUTION: Satellite channel information providing devices 1A to 1C and a ground line information providing device 1D are connected by an information control center 4a and ground lines 7, the devices 1A to 1C are connected to a communication satellite 3 by one-way satellite channels 8 and the center 4A and a central information control center 4B are respectively connected to the satellite 3 by two-way satellite channels 9A and 9B. When multimedia information is offered to a user, individual request information of a small capacity is transmitted from the user through a ground line and information presentation in response to it is returned through a large capacity, a broad band and high-speed satellite communication.
