PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject device capable of increasing the content of a dissolvable oxygen in a nutrient solution by only impregnating a water repellent into the whole surface of a nutrient solution-containing case without employing any specific means. SOLUTION: This device comprises a case 2 designed to contain a nutrient solution and applicable to water culture, wherein the whole surface of the case 2 is coated with a water-repellent surface-improver (water repellent) 4 so that the content of a dissolvable oxygen in the nutrient solution is increased, and whereby an oxygen is supplied to the roots of plant 7 for accelerating the growth of the plant 7.
