PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance productivity by shortening the occupying time of a bending mold by a resin pipe in the bending processing of the resin pipe by performing a process for cooling and solidifying a heated and softened resin pipe part having a predetermined bent shape in a state separating a bent resin pipe from the bending mold to hold the bent shape thereof by a holder. SOLUTION: A preheated straight pipe is bent by the bending mold 21 of a bending processing machine 2 and the bent shape of the bent resin pipe thus formed is supported by a holding jig 31 and the resin pipe held to a bent shape is placed on a truck 3 and the whole is fed in a heating furnace 4. Thereafter, the bent resin pipe is fed out of the heating furnace 4 to be subsequently fed in a cooling chamber 5. The heated resin pipe is gradually cooled. Cooling can be uniformized by making a cooling speed lower and the residual stress caused by heat strain can be reduced. If the bent resin pipe is cooled to almost ambient temp., the cooled resin pipe is taken out from the cooling chamber 5 along with the truck 3. |
