PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a missile from sinking under the sea, to avoid the malfunction of a proximity fuse, and to improve guidance performance by estimating the altitude of a target according to a guidance signal and altitude output, and by calculating and outputting an acceleration command according to the output of a limit device for outputting the guidance signal with limitation to the guidances signal. SOLUTION: A seeker 1 searches for a target 21 for tracking. According to a Karman filter 2, a viewing line angleαp-h , viewing line change ratesαp-h andα'y-h , a relative distance R of a missile 20 and the target 21 are outputted as a guidance signal where a noise constituent is eliminated from angle measurement information being detected by the seeker 1. A limit circuit 3 calculates a limit value Lp of the appropriate guidance signal according to the relative distance R, the viewing line angleαp-h , and altitude hm from and altimeter 6, and outputs the viewing line change rateα'p-h2 with limination of the viewing line change rateα'p-h . Using the output, an acceleration command is calculated in amplifiers 4 and 5, and guidance for making the viewing line angle constant is performed, thus improving guidance performance.
