PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating device for a sheet-fed rotary press which enables easy and trouble-free replacement of a printing plate or a coating plate or a rubber blanket or a varnishing blanket. SOLUTION: This sheet-fed rotary press is of such a type that comprises a coating cylinder 10 and an impression cylinder 9 which is arranged opposite to the coating cylinder 10 and has at least, one gripper 28, coating a liquid to printing sheets 2. In this case, the coats cylinder retains a cylinder sleeve 23 which coats the liquid to the printing sheets 27 and the cylinder sleeve 23 has at least, one recessed part 24 into which the gripper 28 sinks deeply when the peripheral faces of the coating cylinder 10 and the impression cylinder 9 roll to each other. |
