PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent overcooling of a room by operating an air conditioner to a key if a set temperature is reached under cooling mode of dry operation and performing heating operation for a set time if a detected temperature is higher than the set temperature but lower than a specified comfortable temperature thereby performing cooling operation such that the set temperature is reached again. SOLUTION: Under cooling mode, a control means 154 makes a decision whether or not an operating signal received through a key input section 153 or a remote control signal receiving section 7 is a healthy dry operation signal. If it is a dry operation signal, the control means 154 sets a comfortable temperature range and controls healthy dry operation such that the room is not overcooled or overheated. If the indoor air temperature detected by an indoor temperature sensing means 156 is higher than the set temperature but lower than a specified comfortable temperature, the control means 154 performs cooling operation by turning a compressor 30 and an outdoor fan 41 on turning a four-way valve 31 off and turning an indoor fan 17 on to produce ultralow speed wind. |
