Restoration of plaster and mortar joints uses high pressure water jets to remove the damaged mortar material to be replaced by joint material in a thin and liquid consistency

To restore damaged plaster and mortar joints, the damaged joint material is removed by a high pressure water jet and any clinging material is detached by scraping or brushing and the like. The detached joint material is extracted by suction. The new joint material is applied into the cleared joint space, in a thin and liquid consistency. The new mortar contains quartz sand or natural stone sand or chips together with cement, micro-silica, fly ash and/or lime, together with ultra-fine micro-silica and cement in a particle size of 1.0 mu and modified with tensides to give a mortar with a strong bonding action.
