PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil pump device equipped with the cooling performance for a relief oil and with an excellent shutoff function for high frequency sounds when the relief oil is being discharged. SOLUTION: An oil pump device consists of a pump 5 to discharge a working oil as specified, and a relief valve 1 is actuated to relieve the load pressure on the oil pump device when the load pressure has exceeded the specified value. One end of the relief valve 1 is coupled with the discharge port side of the pump while the other end is coupled with the suction port of pump and a reserve tank 9 through relief passage 19. Appropriate distribution is made about the rates of flow of the relief oil fed to the suction port and reserve tank 9. |
