<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machining method to form a crystal machined item which has improved diffusion and retroreflection characteristics of light and moreover extremely good visibility. SOLUTION: In the method for crystal machining wherein a decorating ink is applied to a surface of a base material which reflects a light and is to be machined and a crystal pattern is formed on the decorating ink layer, a decorating material and undercoat materials 4, 5, which improve the joining properties with the base material 1, are applied to a surface of the base material 1 and the undercoat materials 4, 5 are dried and then a decoration ink is applied onto the materials 4, 5 to form a layer 6 of decoration ink, following which the material 1 coated with the materials 4, 5 and decoration ink is heat treated to form a shrinkage pattern on the layer 6.</p> |
