PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink cartridge for printer in, which a coating film stripping part for opening the upstream end part of a ventilation passage can be stripped accurately. SOLUTION: The ink cartridge for printer comprises a snaking ventilation trench 19 made in one side of a cartridge body 2, and a coating film 4 welded to one side of the cartridge body 2 while covering the open part of the trench 19 airgithgly and constituting a ventilation passage 20 of the cartridge body 2 in the trench 19. The stripping part 33 of the coating film 4 located at the upstream end 20a of time ventilation passage 20 is stripped at the time of use and the upstream end 20a is opened. In such an ink cartridge of printer, the coating film 4 is composed of a uniaxial orientation film having orientation aligned with the stripping direction. |
