<p>The invention concerns a method for qualitatively and quantitatively detecting DNA lesions comprising the following different steps: preparing DNA; subjecting said DNA to damaging treatment; and fixing said damaged DNA on a sensitised solid support; or preparing DNA; fixing said non-damaged DNA on a sensitised solid support; and subjecting said DNA to damaging treatment; or treating cells; lysis and capture of cell DNA. The invention is characterised in that it consists in: treating said damaged DNA with a composition comprising a cell extract or a purified protein having at least an activity for recognising and/or repairing lesions; and detecting on the damaged DNA, directly or indirectly, the presence of the proteins recognising and/or repairing the resulting lesions; a washing step intervening between all the different steps. The invention also concerns the elements for implementing said method.</p> |
